2.5 MW Tender Evaluation
Tender Evaluation of 2.5 MW Solar Installation for Buyer
Orrevad Solar’s analysts have experience of evaluating received quotes for one of Sweden’s largest roof systems on behalf of the Client. The assignment was to evaluate quotes based on technology, environmental and climate footprint and economics. The evaluation provided an answer to which Contractor was considered to give the best quote from an overall assessment.
The tender referred to turnkey contracts for the installation of a photovoltaic system on a flat storage roof with an installed capacity of 2.5 MW.
Orrevad Solar’s analysts have experience from the constitution of a feasibility study that provided answers to whether the customer’s intended solar cell plant in combination with a merger of the property’s connection points and installation of a battery warehouse could provide economies of scale from an economic perspective, which these economies of scale were and the economies of scale’s respective impact on the investment calculation. The assignment also included an analysis of the technical design of the photovoltaic system and analysis of alternative design solutions.
The feasibility study also provided answers to how the own consumption of solar increased when merging the property’s grid connection points. The feasibility study led to the end customer and contractor changing the intended design of the system solution to a more optimal solution.
Authoring of roadmap targeting how a housing society with heating pumps, PV and batteries could become even more energy efficient, and advice the housing society in which order future energy investments should be performed given technical feasability and economy.
